Quality work is NEVER an accident, but the result of high intentions and a sincere effort. Having serviced Lionel transformers for almost 30 years for some of the finest Chicago area hobby shops, you are assured of receiving a fully functional transformer!This a "nice" 16B that is free of case cracks or blemishes, baseplate is rust free on bottom and has "minute" rust on top of plate only! carbon roller shows very minor wear ,, all functions work perfectly including the circuit breaker! Both bulb covers are NOT original and the bulb below the green cover has been replaced w/24V bulb so that green cover won't get heat damaged as you often find w/these units! Max. voltage output is 19.8 volts in spite of voltage of 18.0 volts listed on rear plate!Box shown is new and from my repro box line, the instruction sheet is a copy of original!PLEASE don't bid if you can't send payment within 7 days of auctions end.
