Up for auction is this American Flyer 24840 "UNION PACIFIC" OBSERVATION CAR in EXCELLENT MINUS WORKING CONDITION. This "MOON GLOW" observation car with "working" knuckle couplers was produced in 1959-60. This armour yellow and harbor mist gray car is part of the most desirable American Flyer sets ever produced. The die cast side frames of the trucks were painted harbor mist gray to match the roof and skirts of the car. The car was produced with #24853 in the windows. This is one of the toughest cars to find in any condition, but this condition is super tough. I just tested this car and it lights-up nicely. The 6.95 for shipping includes delivery confirmation.
