American Flyer # 283 "S" Gauge 4-6-2 Steam Loco and Tender Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Here's a complete, original and pretty clean American Flyer # 283 "S" gauge steam loco and tender. There is some light surface rust on the underside of the tender frame, on the trucks and on the knuckle coupler pin.....otherwise it's all pretty clean.I tested this on my bench and could NOT get it to run. The tender ....wouldn't run, smoke or even light. I just don't have the time to tear this apart and try to repair it, so I am offering it "AS-IS" in non-running condition for repair.You'll see in the pix that there is nothing broken or missing on the loco and tender bodies. It needs work, though, and hopefully it is something minor. Please look over all the pictures and see what you think ! Payment Thank you for your bid.
