Original American Flyer #290 locomotive and tender in very good condition. It runs, smokes, the E-unit works perfectly. However, this may be a mis-match because the tender may be of a later vintage. It is plastic and has a knuckle coupler, while the locomotive is die-cast metal. I do not know if this was a factory or service station conversion or just somebody who was a hobbist made this up. There is some wear to the paint on the high spots of the locomotive, but not all that bad. Anyhow, it is a good runner and a welcome additon to someone's layout. There is a step missing on the cow catcher {see Picture}
