Up for auction today is the American Flyer #755 Mystic station. It takes its name from Mystic, Connecticut. The station contains a record that plays when a train arrives at the station. There is a control in the station that automatically stops the train and plays the record which signals "New York, Philadelphisa, Chicago and all points west : All Aboard". Then a train whistle is heard and power is returned to the track and the train continues on its journey. The station was tested and it works great! The station is in very good condition. It shows minor playwear and marks consistent with an item over 60 years old, but there is no rust. All of the windows and doors are intact, it has a nice roof with clear Mystic Station signs and an illuminated interior. It has the traditional green crackle paint finish. The recorder and sound horn are included. The control button shows minor paint loss, but it is readable. Also Included are seven passengers waiting to board the train and two plastic benches for them to wait on. Also included is a copy of the original factory hook-up instructions. Theis is a great vintage piece that will impress your friends and bring them back in time to a train display with a 1950's sound. Please review the pictures carefully and feel free to ask any questions. This is an auction and there are no price adjustments
