Here is a used E-unit that cycled and reversed fine before removing from a steam loco with broken chassis. It is in very good condition and all fingers appear in good serviceable condition. This one will fit many early model S & O scale steam engines where the E-unit installed on the boiler chassis and not in the tender such as the Royal Blue and Circus trains as well as the many steamers listed above. It installs with two screws as shown with a directional lock lever at the top. The wiring to motor chassis has been clipped as shown.
