Five embossed tin signs that replicate the A.C. Gilbert Company's Catalog Covers of 1949 - FUN & THRILLS -12" x 16 1/2"; 1950 - GILBERT TOYS - American Flyer Trains - 11 1/2" x 16 1/2"; 1951 - GILBERT TOYS - American Flyer Trains; 1952 - American Flyer Trains and GILBERT TOYS - 11 3/4"x 16 1/2"; and 1953 - American Flyer Trains - ERECTOR and other GILBERT TOYS - 11 3/4" x 16 1/4". The signs were LICENSED by Lionel Trains, Inc. in 1993. A display of these signs makes an interesting conversation topic and attractive addition to any American Flyer collector's train room. In addition, the +1 is a tin sign of -1929 - American Flyer Trains - The President's Special. This sign shows what an American Flyers train looked like in 1929 while the five other signs show some of the A. C. Gilbert Company's products and American Flyer trains from 1949-53. All signs have holes on the corners for fastening with nails or screws. See pictures. Selling collection.
