American Flyer A.C. Gilbert S Gauge B&O Box Car No. 633 with original box You're bidding on an American Flyer A.C. Gilbert No. 633 Baltimore & Ohio Boxcar w/original, stamped box, in red w/white letters. Manufactured 1946-52. This car is pretty clean and in great shape. No breaks or repairs I can see. A little rust on the and trucks, a little more on the inside floor of the car. Brake wheel intact, noo broken ladders and the corners are still crisp, not much wear at all. For the box, you can see in the pic the torn flap. Please look closely and ask any questions before bidding. If you can't see a detail clearly from the posted images I can provide higher res. images by email upon reasonable request. This is part of what was my dad's collection of "S" scale trains. He collected it through the 1970's and admired others' setups but never managed to put together one of his own. To my knowledge it's all been in storage since the late 1970's. He collected trains (engines and rolling stock--maybe 100 in all) and accessories-at least 100 pieces, AF, plasticville and bachmann. I'll be selling all of it in no particular order over the fall (I said a few weeks when I started in July, but I think I can stay with it now!). It's just a matter of what order the stuff is unpacked. I'll be the first to admit I am not an expert on model trains.
