American Flyer Gilbert 23747 Maine Central MEC Handcar, working motorAmerican Flyer S-gauge . Gilbert never issued a handcar with a real roadname. Professionally airbrushed on a 740 handcar. Unassigned number conforms to Gilbert's 5-digit system. Lettering is dry transfer (NOT decaled) that looks like Gilbert stamping.Single-direction motor has been cleaned and lubed, runs. Both lanterns present, men intact and flexible. All 4 corner nibs present. No rust.Excellent condition.
