Up for auction is a nice early Gilbert American Flyer Missouri Pacific 20465 Set. This set contains21920 Diesel21920-1 Tender25052 Caboose914 Log Dump Car937 MKT Box Car24206 CB&Q Coal car33648 Gulf oil tanker924- CRP cement Car983- M.P. Box carOriginal paperwork and instructions22030 TransformerDiesel HornLog unloading switchUncoupler6-straight track12-curved trackwiresOriginal boxSet is complete. T is some debate on the three number cars some experts say these sets came with them like the log car and others say no. Set came from original owner who says he got it for Christmas in 1958 and never replaced anything. Has not been run in over thirty years. T is some slight rust on the bottom of couplers and on a few wheels but all could be easily cleaned. Motors are very clean. I have more pics available upon request. Seems most of the small parts are t The diesels need on set of horns as these are broken, paint is relatively very good on all cars. MKT car is missing the black wheel on back and is a easy replace, Gulf car has one stair missing a small piece and coal car has two stairs missing. All other cars are complete. Still a very nice set that is hard to find even in this shape. Caboose is the full action caboose and is complete. Box has seen better days and the bottom is ripped and one side is curled.
