American Flyer rubber roadbed adds a great of realism to any Flyer layout. The roadbed also helps to deaden the sound of the trains on the tracks. This auction includes 19 pieces of the narrow tie roadbed, which was probably the best-looking of the varieties of roadbed Flyer produced. There are 15 full straight sections of roadbed and four straight half sections. The roadbed is in very good shape. It has faded some over the years but is still very pliable. Some of the section show shadowing where the track rails were.
