Here is An American Flyer PRR 4-6-2 314AW with Die Cast Trailing Truck in Excellent Condition! It ran well on the test track, reversed and smoked well. There is a new wiring harness. The whistle needs some TLC. The whistle works well when you close the whistle relay by hand and worked sometimes with a whistle control. The adjustment of the whistle relay is very sensitive and if adjusted perfectly it would probably need to be adjusted again after shipping. In the worst case, the whistle relay could need to be rewound. The whistle relay is there and it tries to work and sometimes works, so I think a good adjustment is all it needs. The whistle relay adjustment is covered in the American Flyer Repair Manual. Otherwise the engine and tender are in Excellent Condition, all wheels clean and tight, the motor and reverse unit were recently serviced, even the grab ladder is present on the back of the tender and all of the jewels are present.
