Here is the nice vintage American Flyer S Scale 4-6-2 K-5 Die-Cast Steam Locomotive & Metal Tender - American Flyer Reading Lines PRR 312 made back in 1946-1948 that would be a great candidate for restoration. The vintage American Flyer Locomotive Set needs to be rewired from the Tender to the Locomotive - has deteriorated with age. The Locomotive Body has no cracks or chips and is complete except for 1 of the side front reflectors and the front Boiler Cover does not snap on properly to the front of the Locomotive. The the Chassis and Motor is very clean but needs normal maintenance and oiling - the motor and all wheels manually all turn easily, the linkage is complete, but hums when powered up. The Steam Locomotive and Tender is sold as is and as pictured, and looks and displays great with very good colors, and would be a super addition to your collection!Please look at my S Scale Model Train listings, and I will gladly combine shipping to save you money.Thanks for looking!
