(This Armature will work in Postwar American Flyer Diesels!) 1.) Condition - Excellent / Old Store Stock 2.) Date Manufactured - After 1970 3.) Manufacturer - American Flyer by Lionel 4.) Parts have been in storage for a number of years. The nylon gears have begun to crack due to age. While the crack does NOT interfere with the operation of the armature, the gear may spin. Resolution is to either remove the nylon gears and replace with original brass worm gears or use a bit of 2-part epoxy to adhere the nylon gear onto the shaft. Great for repairing Postwar American Flyer and Lionel American Flyer Diesel Armatures. Swap out a worn Postwar Armature and put this FRESH NOS Armature in its place.
