Adorable Navy DressPink and Blue Pinafore Apron 1930’s Vintage Replica Feedsack Fabric for Your American Girl Dolls and Other 18 Inch Dolls You are looking at a beautiful hand made navy floral print cotton dress and coordinating apron which fits 18” dolls such as the American Girl Dolls. The dress and pinafore apron are so sweet! They are made from a replica of feedsack fabric from the 1930’s. The cotton print dress has a dark blue background with tiny dots in groups of three in pale beige scattered on the background. There are dark blue vines with medium blue leaves and pale beige, navy blue and medium blue flowers coming from the vines. The dark blue flowers have a beige center, the beige flowers have a dark blue center and the medium blue flower has a center the same shade as the background. The dress has a rounded neck and short sleeves. The sleeves are folded back on the wrong side to create a pocket for elastic to gather the sleeves and to create cuff. The sleeves are shirred at the shoulders for gentle puffing. The dress is A-line and has no waist as was the style in that era. It has a long opening in the back and a Velcro closure for ease in helping the doll dress for special occasions. It is so cute! The apron is adorable! The skirt, top, pockets and ties of the apron are an abstract all over white leaf vine design.
