Hi, welcome to my auction :) Up for sale is a retired limited edition American Girl Doll. Here's a little about this doll if you didn't already know her. Nicki. Ten-year-old Nicki Fleming is a natural with animals. She's also compassionate, dependable... and very busy! When the chance to train a service dog comes up, she just can't say "no," even if it means taking on more responsibility and having to give up some of the things she loves doing. When Sprocket the puppy turns out to be a handful, Nicki has to muster all of her compassion to continue his training. She knows that one day Sprocket will make someone else's life better--and that makes all the difference. When she isn't training Sprocket to be a service dog, she's helping her mother, who is expecting twins soon. Yet Nicki is dreading the fall -- that's when Sprocket will have to leave for more training and eventual placement with a person with special needs. The beginning of the school year also means she's stuck in the middle -- caught between her two best friends, Kris and Becca, who can't seem to get along. Can Nicki find a way to let Sprocket go and keep both of her good friends close? Nicki is the first American Girl of Today to have two books. They are entitled Nicki published December 2006 and Thanks to Nicki which was published in May 2007. Both books were written by Ann Howard Creel and illustrated by Doron Ben-Ami. Nicki Fleming was introduced January 1, 2007 and she became sold out December 2007. Now a little about what is included in this auction and the condition of the items. Nicki Doll : She comes wearing a cream eyelet bodysuit with pearlescent buttons, A faux-wrap skirt with floral embroidery and Faux-leather boots with lace trim. She has long caramel-colored hair, blue eyes, and pretty freckles on her face. She is really good condition, her hair is in great condition, her curls have been untouched. She comes in her original box. Nicki Book : The Nicki book enhances playtime with her story of growing up on a Colorado ranch and all the responsibilities she has. Her life gets even busier when she agrees to train Sprocket the pup to be a service dog. Can Nicki juggle it all? Great condition. Nicki Hat : The straw HAT has pink faux-suede trim and shades her eyes from the sun. The beaded chin strap keeps her hat secure. Comes like new in box. Nicki's Gala Outfit : A gathered mesh skirt with floral embroidery, A twill jacket with lace trim and copper- and nickel-colored studs, Rhinestone-embellished ballet flats and Six pink hair clips for styling her hair. Like new in box. Nicki's Tie Top & Shorts : Included is a pair of khaki shorts with a ribbon belt, a floral-print shirt and her favorite pink tank top, and a pair of sandals with comfortable faux-cork soles for long hikes. Like new in box. Nicki's SkiWear : Nylon ski pants with contrast stitching and graphic on left leg, Mittens, knit slipper socks and vest with faux fur trimmed hood with reflective patch & lift ticket. Like new in box. Nicki's Dog-in-Training : Sprocket the pup is black and white with caramel spots in places. He comes with a service-dog vest, a training log to record his progress, scoop snacks, and a box of pretend treats. Like new in box. Can I just say I had stickers on the boxes so all the boxes has a mark on the top where I took off the sticker. Nicki's box is good, no stickers. This lot makes a great Christmas present as it's all in the box or great if you just love to collect the dolls. I have other retired American girl doll and will be adding them to my auction.
