Last night, David Cook won the seventh season of American Idol, but I knew him long before he was a star. I went to the same high school as he did (Blue Springs South High School in Blue Springs, MO), and I was a sophomore when he was a senior. He was a musician even then; he sold his band Axium's CD in the cafeteria at lunch, and I bought a copy. At the time, Axium (then spelled "Axiom", but changed after they graduated high school) consisted of David Cook, Bobby Kerr, Matt McLaughlin, and Drew Foss, and this CD is signed by three of the four band members (the one who didn't sign was Drew Foss). This CD comes in the original jewel case and has a hand-written insert of the tracks. And, now, you can own a piece of this up-and-coming star's history. Track listing 1. Somber 2. No Free Advice 3.
