Published in 1995, by The To accompany the exhibition held May 27-September 27, 1995. Softcover, 8.5" x 11", in very good condition, with a light corner crease to the first few pages. The covers are also in good condition with some light scuffing, and a small corner crease. Has 92 pages with 38 different objects pictured in color photographs. The selection features objects from the Great Plains, Great Lakes, and adjoining regions to the south and west. Contains a variety of textiles with several Men's Shirts, Belt Pouches, Pipe Bags, Beaded Lance Case, Beaded Valise, Beaded Cradle, Blanket Strip, Mens Garter Pendants, several Bandolier Bags, Clubs, Knife and Sheath, Moccasins, Etc. Many of the pieces are beaded, and have Porcupine Quills. Has an interesting and authoritative text along with descriptions given for each piece shown.
