Place Published: Franklin Center, PA Publisher: The Franklin Philatelic Society Date Published: [1976] Item Id: 35797 Description Wide small 4to. Full blue padded leatherette with silver lettering and pictorial stamping. The Front cover has some wear, like it has bubbled a little. Other then that the stamps are all excellent and no other notable damage. Comments Complete set of these There is around 80 stamps and well over 100 pages ( I think more ) "First Day Covers," each bearing the official "First Day of Issue" cancellation from the 88 different countries who issued the stamps and each affixed to The Franklin envelope with printed cachet at left. Each FDC is tipped to a heavy stock small 4to sheet giving the history of the country, its relationship with the U.S., a map showing the country and a description of the stamp. A few blank clear sleeves at the close contain some promotional literature on this series.
