tapered form, featuring polychrome hand-painted long-tailed bird perched on a drooping flower, repeated six times around body, on turquoise ground with navy banded rim and base.Attribution: Rookwood, Cincinnati, OH. Circa: Circa 1917. Condition: Undamaged, except having some glaze imperfections with light crazing, as made. Size: 9 1/4" H. Catalog Notes: Catalogue Note: Lorinda Epply was employed at the Rookwood Pottery from 1904 to 1948. she studied ceramics at Columbia University in New York City.
