Circa 1830, two-part form, mahogany and bird's eye maple veneers, white pine secondary, uppercase with two hinged astragal molded doors with shelved interior, lower case with slant front writing surface, over three graduated cockbeaded drawers with geometric banded inlay, flanked by reeded stiles, on turned legs. 64.5 x 38.5 x 20.5 in. Private Collection, VirginiaNo key; been refinished; some light restoration to case; upper bookcase reworked.
