Listing this evening some of the items from a local country Inn in Lancaster Co Pa. This Inn has been in business since 1972 and the furnishings have been part of the house since then and have not been offered for sale before. This is a wonderful heavy cast Iron bed with several coats of paint, the top layer is a soft dove grey and is in excellent condition .. no flaking and for the most part the paint is intact, t are a couple of very small places w the underpaint is showing through but this in no way deters from the quality of the piece. The bed itself is in excellent condition.. very sturdy (has the original side rails) and sits squarely and solidly on the floor . Tight and secure. As you see by the pics attached, the bed has really beautiful lines with soft curves and simple cartouches. The frame measures 54" x 77" and the headboard is 52" high .. the footboard is 40" high.. Great style for a solid heavy gauge bed. Please see pics attached.
