AMOSKEAG VETERANS BADGE SEMI-CENTENNIAL 1904 MANCHESTER, N.H.Gold toned (colored) two piece badge, top reads "1854-1904 Amoskeag Veterans", bottom reads on outer edge "Semi-Centennial Sept, 27-28,1904, Manchester, N.H." it also reads on inner circle "Amoskeag Veterans, organized Nov. 1854-incorporated June, 1855". with depiction of soldier on hillside standing with gun at rest facing Native American with headdress and bow at rest. Measures 1.75"wide by 2.75" long. Back indicates manufacturer as The Boston Regalia Co., Boston Mass.To The AMERICAN SOLDIER, past and present. We stand in awe of your bravery, are humbled by your sacrifices, salute your honor and THANK YOU FOR THE FREEDOMS WE HAVE.This item is from the Massive and Diverse collection of a Veteran of WW11. Prior to Florida , he lived in Boston and Virginia . The collection includes Jewelry, Military, Sports and Fraternal Organizations, Unions, Political, Labor and Rights Movements, Disney, Movies and Humor. The items date from the Revolutionary War to the late 80's. They were pinned to a framed canvas type material, and displayed in what would be described today as his " Man Cave ".
