Amulet Stone Tumblestone Amulet Stones are also known as Thunder Eggs or Star Agates, they were formed over 120 million years ago as molten lava cooled and formed a shell, trapping gas bubbles. When the shell cracked, the gases escaped allowing siliceous liquids to enter the cavities and crystalise, sealing the cracks and thus forming these amazing and mysterious Amulet Stones. Usually from Australia, this tumble polished example is from Germany, it measures approx. 3.3 cms. Amulet Stones are believed to cleanse the blood, aid circulation and bring about general vitality.
