You are bidding on a beautiful and rare early Roman Intaglio Official Seal Ring The shank and bezel are intact! It is difficult to ascertain the emblem in this official seal ring. Perhaps it is a boat under sail or an insect of some sort. If it is an insect, this ring is a fair amount older than stated, as bugs on seal rings date prior to 200BC. Because this ring was fairly encrusted with a thick green patina, t exists some pitting, and degradation typical of archaeological finds. This ring has been had a cursory cleaning, Should you desire more polishing, please let us know prior to shipping.
