It is an ancient Chinese Amulet/Pendant is in the shape of a Wine Cicada insect that was meant to symbolize Heaven and everlasting life. It is made of pure Nephrite Jade that still retains its natural green color. It has a single, tiny hole that has been drilled in the top of the Amulet so it could be suspended from a cord around the neck. It is estimated to have been made during the late Shang Dynasty (1200 BC to 1045 BC) of ancient China!
