An ancient Roman antoninianus minted under Emperor Probus, ( Marcus Aurelius Probus Augustus .) Struck 276 - 282 A.D.The obverse with the radiated bust of probus, facing right. The legend reading in abbreviated Latin:IMP[erator] C[aesar] M[arcvs] AVR[elivs] PROBVS AVG[vstvs]"Emperor Caesar Marcus Aurelius Probus Augustus"The reverse with Securitas left holding scepter and leaning on column. The collection was formed from the 1940's-1970's.
