Youare bidding on an authentic set of first cabin Andrea Doria deck plans pri nted March of 1954 . Designed for both English and Italian users, this very rare artifact measures 39 1/4" x 21 3/8" ( 10" X 5 1/2" folded) , and is in excellent condition, having been lovingly preserved as a momento. t are no tape repairs or major blemishes The fold lines are all solid and t is only minor edge fraying obtained from the passage of fifty two years. ( please see all pics ) I obtained this set of plans from an estate along with a group of other original Doria items. This piece is special, in that you can even see w the original owners marked their cabin # (with a very small arrow) so that he or she could fine their way through the labyrinth of corridors found within the doomed Italian liners gargantuan superstructure. This is a museum quality artifact that once properly framed and mounted on linen will stand out in any historic Ocean liner collection and it will be carefully packaged and shipped with insurance so that you may bid with confidence.
