Up for Auction The famous Portuguese studio art potters from Anfora Agueda years ago produced this beautiful and unusual hand painted glazed ceramic Tea Set, with a fantastic peacock design surrounded by brightly painted flowers and pretty delicate winged insects or butterflies. Includes Tea Pot, sugar bowl, creamer, 6 tea cups, 6 saucers They are vintage, ceramic, and handpainted by Anfora Agueda, Portugal. These pieces are in very good condition, there is a slight chip on the top of the sugar bowl, probably from a where the spoon sat. Also the bottom of 2 plates have very slight imperfections. There looks to be some slight crazing on the center of a few of the saucers, only really noticeable when they are wet. No repairs have been made to the set, it is in vintage condition. The TEA SET has aged nicely with true vintage or shabby chic appeal. These collectible items are hard to date, this one is believed to have been made mid-20th century and is signed on the bottoms by the artist in hand painted lettering. Really lovely pieces that would make a great and unusual gift for any lover of vintage style. Perfect for your next Tea Party.
