Hallmark Lighted Snoopy Stocking Hanger/Holder Description and Condition This lighted Snoopy stocking hanger was sold by Hallmark in 1995. Snoopy is wearing a red and green stocking cap and sitting atop his snow covered roof hugging his dear friend Woodstock. A partial wreath trimmed with red ribbons and lights that actually light up on are one side of the roof. A brass hook hangs off the edge of the snow surrounding his doghouse. The name "Snoopy" has been printed above his doghouse door. This hanger is about 7 inches tall: 5 inches for the Snoopy decoration and another 2 inches for the hook. The animated lights require 2 AAA batteries (not included) and are placed in a compartment underneath the base. T is no on/off switch; when the batteries are in, the lights twinkle continuously. To stop the lights, remove the batteries. This hanger is from my personal collection. Although I stopped displaying my Peanuts ornaments several years ago, I've continued to display this stocking hanger with a Snoopy stocking. It is in excellent shape. The colors are still bold and t are no scratches, cracks, breaks or blemishes on the paint. Although I have used it to display stockings, the stockings were removed when gifts were placed in them so as not to cause damage to the holder.
