Anita Harris Art Pottery is a partnership between two of the leading Ceramic Artists currently working in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Anita Harris and Samatha (Sam) Johnson.They became friends when working together as Leading Designers at Cobridge Stoneware, which was part of the Moorcroft group of companies.When Moorcroft closed Cobridge Stoneware in 2005 Anita decided to open up her own studio, with Sam joining her in 2007.They are ably assisted in the production by Anita’s son Peter, who also is creative with his own unique designs, along with Sam’s partner Mathew Hollinshead who additionally deals with the marketing and the web-site design.Prior to working at Cobridge Stoneware Anita was a senior designer at Poole Pottery where her designs became favourites with collectors, many now fetching premium prices on the secondary market.The designs by both Anita and Sam at Cobridge Stoneware were much sought after and again very popular and much sought after by collectors.This attractive piece measures 10 inches(24.5cm) diameter and stands just over 4 inches tall is signed A/H C 03 and has various stamps notably the grapes stamp/Cobridge Stoneware and Made in Stoke on Trent England and a circled R,will come suitably packed and insured,thanks for looking.
