I received it from an estate collection. In used condition; has a loose clasp; I cannot keep it closed very well. The locket is approx. 1 1/4" long. Probably gold filled; still has it's 2 metal inserts and 1 plastic insert. It is signed Bates and B.(for Bates & Bacon). Engraved on the front with a beautiful design and the letters AMS.
