ANRI TORIART wooden figure part of "drunken monk" series made in Italy. This figure measures 2 by 2 inches and is almost 6" tall. This was no doubt purchased as a souvenir of Italy. I've seen these wooden figures referred to as "drunken monks". I have five I am selling and can combine orders for shipping. This monk is more studious than the other frolicking monks: this one is reading his missive and he carries a joyful air about him. Look closely at the photos to see the details in his cap, robe, book and hair. A small chip is seen on the hood seam, but the rest of him is in good shape.
