For a complete statement of the Terms of Guarantee please review the Conditions of Sale full size Full Size Image (39.7 by 49.8 cm.) mounted, signed in pencil on the mount, the photographer's Carmel studio stamps (BMFA 7 and 8), with title in ink, on the reverse, 1942, probably printed between 1963 and 1970 CONDITION REPORT This print is in generally excellent condition. The following are visible only in high raking light: scattered deposits of original retouching; several tiny impressions; a one-and-1/4-inch thin crease extending from the left edge; and a 1/4-inch crease extending from the right edge; none of the above appear to break the emulsion. The corners and edges are very subtly bumped, with occasional minute chipping. The lower right corner is slightly creased. There is some scattered faint soiling and a few deposits of indeterminate nature on the front and reverse of the mount. Karen Haas's and Rebecca Senf's book, 'Ansel Adams in the Lane Collection,' publishes the most comprehensive list to date of the studio stamps and labels Adams used throughout his career. Our dating of this print is based upon the authors' assessment of the use dates of stamps 7 and 8: 1963 through 1970.In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
