For a complete statement of the Terms of Guarantee please review the Conditions of Sale full size Full Size Image (36.8 by 49.2 cm.) mounted, signed in pencil on the mount, the photographer's Carmel studio stamp (BMFA 11), with title in ink, on the reverse, 1944, probably printed between 1973 and 1977 CONDITION REPORT This print is in generally excellent condition. Upon close examination, the following are visible overall: a few tiny deposits of indeterminate nature; a few tiny impressions, including a small cluster of pinpoint-sized impressions in the lower left quadrant; and several long vertical surface scratches. None of the aforementioned appear to break the emulsion. The mount is slightly age-darkened around the edges. Faint soiling is visible in a few places on the front and reverse and there are a few surface abrasions around the edges on the reverse of the mount. Karen Haas's and Rebecca Senf's book, 'Ansel Adams in the Lane Collection,' publishes the most comprehensive list to date of the studio stamps and labels Adams used throughout his career. Our dating of this print is based upon the authors' assessment of the use dates of stamp 11 on the reverse of the mount: 1973 through 1977.In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
