This is an Ansonia China Case (or Porcelain) Clock and it’s in running condition, although it probably hasn’t been serviced recently. It is an 8 day clock. The name of this clock is “WAMPUM”, which is marked on the back of the case, and partially ("WAMP") molded into the case at the bottom of the right-hand side (see picture no. 9 & 10). It was probably made in the early 1900's, but I haven't seen this model in any of my catalog reprints. It strikes the hours on a spiral gong and once on the half-hour. It is approximately 11-3/4” high x 10-1/4” wide. A key is included. The bezel, bezel hinge, and glass are in good condition. The porcelain dial is also in good condition, except that there is a light hairline crack between the center of the dial and the 11 numeral (see picture no. 6). There's a chip to the beveled glass between the 10 and 11 numerals (see picture no. 7). There are no cracks or chips in the case. Please examine the pictures and if you have any questions about this item, they should be asked before bidding. All items are sold “As Is”. There is no guarantee or warranty on antique or vintage items, as any part can fail at any time due to age, and because the service history of the item is unknown to me in most cases. Clocks may need adjustment after shipping. The winning bidder can choose the shipping method on the read more
