Up for bid is a pair of wonderful Etruscan bronze urns or pitchers, made by the Ansonia Clock Co., circa 1904. Photo #6 shows the clock these were with, an Ansonia "Juno" Ball Swing clock, we are selling in a separate auction. Same provenance, owned by the same family from the start, over 100 years ago. The urns are pictured in Tran's Ansonia Clock book on page 687, Illustration #2954 and 2955. Titled (described in the original catalogue) "No. 1053 Etruscan Pitchers". They each measure 13" height, 7" wide, 5" square at the base. Absolutely beautiful patina, never cleaned or polished. If you are an Ansonia clock collector, you will love these, and we would love to see them go to the high bidder on the Ball Swinger. They've been together all these years! No reserve.
