Please note..It's a ROSALIND model. I will tell you more about this clock than anyone ever told you about anything you ever bought on auction. I was informed this model Ansonia is a Rosalind and if the 2 graceful figures missing were on it, it would be in the $500 range. It could be called Victorian I suppose, since the face on the aluminum casting directly below the dial appears to be English nobility .The person is wearing a round ruffled collar popular in Sir walter Raleigh's time.~~~~~ Good points this clock runs, with a strong tick, and with a good cleaning it will run better. The dial, hands ,crystal are in very good shape excluding some surface rust on the hands which is easily removed. The bezel and hinge are also in good shape. The pendulum is original , the key is not. The clock can be restored. It is neither cracked nor dented.. The aluminum decorative strip strip with the face on it is also in good shape, just needing polish. ~~~ Points of concern..The graceful emblems on either side of the clock are missing. T are 2 holes on either side w they were fastened to the clock.. The black enamel shows notable wear at various spots including chipping. The pendulum suspension spring has been replaced and the hinge on the back cover has been replaced...Since the clock is over 100 years old, it naturally has been taken apart for read more
