Up for bid we have a beautiful cast iron mantle clock made by the Ansonia Clock Co. called Rosalind. Clock has completely finished. The cast brass bezel is original with a scratch free beveled edge crystal lens. The dial is original Ansonia porcelain with one flaw it has a hairline crack at the number 4. The Ansonia open escape movement has been disassembled bushed where needed cleaned assembled lubed and adjusted and keeps good time. The clock counts the hour on a deep sounding cathedral gong and strikes once for the half hour. The clock measures 12.5 in. tall 15 in. wide at the base and 5 in. on the depth. Clock comes complete with original pendulum and proper fitting key.
