Beautiful old hanging ceiling light fixture, likely brass, with a lovely hand painted glass shade (not a reverse painting, paint is on the outside of shade). Light works well, has a standard two wire cord which is probably not the original. Your call as to whether or not you will need to rewire unit. Painted shade/globe is beautiful but is not without some cosmetic issues, in picture 9 you will see the way some places look while the light is off, the light yellowish areas (not sure what it is) on the painted outside is very noticeable at the cabin/house area, and also on the other side in the dirt road area (only not as bad there). There are some spots/smudges of white paint on the outside too which I did not try to remove (afraid of damaging the paint, maybe something that can be removed?), there are some glass chips on the rim top from being tightened to the fixture, and some brown paint at the rim area too. There is also the normal usage wear as well; scratches and scuffing. Shade looks very nice while lighted and the cosmetic issues are not as easily noticeable then. It really is very pretty lighted. (Light bulb is not included). The metal light fixture has/shows some age, wear, and usage marks, not bad, great patina, some paint spots on the fixture as well.
