Fresh from a great local estate antique clock collection featuring many rare and unusual antique clocks, is a 41" high single weight Vienna Regulator clock with a movement marked "Marke Schutz" in a medallion. It features 1 7 1/4" double chapter ring porcelain dial with a sub second hand. and a key wound weight return system. The clock measures 41" high x 14 3/4" wide x 6 1/2" deep. The string for the weight is broken and will need replacement but I think that is the only thing wrong with it (other than a routine oiling and cleaning). When I pull firmly on the line, it will tick a little and the second hand will move as long as the movement is balanced. The case is made of a reletively soft wood, possibly pine, but I am far from an expert on wood types. It seems to be complete except for a key. The case is in pretty good overall condition although t are three mnor wood splits on the front. The dial, porcelain I believe, has three tight hairlines on the outer chapter ring. Overall a pretty nice looking Antique Vienna Regulator which I believe is pretty rare. Actual insured USPS Parcel Post shipping will be determined at the end of the auction and is dependent on how far you live from NC. No International shipping on the clock. The package will be too big and heavy. Shipment will be within 2-3 business days after receipt for money read more
