*US shipping only From a local estate ~ Children's Christmas Book SANTA CLAUS VISIT, from the Santa Claus Series printed and bound by M. A. Donohue & Co. Chicago. There is no date, but looks like early 1900's. Hardcover book with about 30 un-numbered pages and black and white illustrations on nearly every page. Measures approx. 8 x 10". Examples of story and poem titles are: ....Our Christmas Tree....Mamma's Jewels...Kriss Kringle at Sea...The Boy and the Bird....Finding Baby's Dimples...The Christmas Turkey....Winter and the Children....The Spring of Life.....Vacation is Over....Sweet Childhood. This is beautifully illustrated book that shows a lot of age and wear. The second photo shows there are two Arm and Hammer cards dated 1918 glued to the upper left corner. The third photo shows an old repair inside the hardback cover. The forth photo shows a center split in the cloth binding that still holds the hardback covers together. The main body of the book is still bound together, but is loose from the hardback covers, and there may be a cover page missing. I don't see any stray marks or large tears, but the edges are brittle, have some chipping and edge tears.
