T his is an 1899 first edition book by Swedish born American illustrator.Thure De THULSTRAP printed in New York . Thure De THULSTRAP was born in 1848 in Sweden and came to the US in 1873. He worked for 30 years as an illustrator for Harper's Weekly as well as other companies.There are 12 black and white prints and 12 color. Two are loose from the book and a couple have tattered edges but would look nice matted and framed. One of these has some creases on the border. There is one print missing A day at Westpoint. Pictures depict outdoor sports such as golf,yacht racing,horse racing, skating,canoeing,tobogganing, football and other outdoor activities. The colors are bright.C over has wear and edge wear and a little dirty looking. Not sure how to clean it up.
