Excellent condition is this Bernard Ravca 10" tall stockinette doll. She appears to be a Spanish Basque peasant woman and she is carrying a basket of flowers in her right hand and more flowers in her left hand. Finely detailed she retains her original tag which is signed by B. Ravca. On the back of her dress at the botton is a sen label marked "Spain."Artist Bernard Ravca was well know in the early 20th Century as a doll maker, using needle sculpting to manipulate stockinette, making very expressive and detailed faces.Thank you for looking.
