Listed is a early Antique cathedral Pickle Jar 4 sided with beveled edges ,12" inches high - Green in color, rolled outward lip, blown in a mold ,dome indentation on the base -The jar has that great old glass house quality glass (smooth as silk feel) - I've had this jar in my own collection for years -The jar has a tooled outward lip, whittling (hammered look), sand or glass crystals imbedded MOLTED in to the indentation and around the bottom edge of the jar mostly likely from a warn-out mold or a dirty mold (sand pontil?)-The best part is there is embedded glass encased straw in the jar from the mold-I'll try to take good photo's of this -(THEY ARE NOT HAIRLINES OR CRACKS IN THE JAR , STRAW OR MAYBE HORSE HAIR AND STRAW) This jar has all the old tell tail on how it was made-I would say this bottle dates from around about 1870's-1880's -A wonderful Addition to any collection - A Great eye catching bottle to add to your collection -Stunning in color - please feel free to email us with any questions about the jar - thank you shipped fully insured Check out my other items !
