A fabulous vintage Victorian made of solid 14K gold with intricate and high quality workmanship all the way through. Approximately circa 1870'S .Also featuring a cameo gemstone centerpiece slide culminating a dangle tassel. The purple amethyst depicts a classic flower framed in 14K gold with a diamond center.The pendant terminates in a tassel that hangs from a safety lock. The tassel is incredibly detailed and its cap designed with taille depargne black enamel. Tassel measures 1 " inches long. magnificently presents an unusual gemstone: a geodesically faceted oval shaped amethyst imbued with purple glow. The enchanting stone is wreathed in a regal, hand engraved multidimensional repoussé frame, A ravishing rarity, circa 1885. A magnificently ornamented, multi-dimensional Victorian pendant centering on an elongated oval cabochon hand fabricated in 14K yellow gold - circa 1875.
