ANTIQUE 14K WHITE GOLD VINTAGE ART DECO DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING~SIZE 8.75 /stores/viewstore.aspx This item is being relisted due to non-payment. I list a ton of antique engagement rings on eBay, but this has to be one of the prettiest (on the smaller side) that I've seen in a long time. This one is solid 14k white gold, ca. 1940, with a clever illusion-style head and some really nice diamonds! (PLEASE NOTE that the antique diamond wedding eternity band in the photos is just for display and is NOT part of this auction--it has already been sold). I have to say that I put this ring on my hand and would have NEVER thought it was only a 1/4 carat diamond ring! Please humor me by scrolling down to the "hand photo"...and see how substantial this ring looks on the hand! The center diamond solitaire is really nice quality--graded by our experienced estate jeweler as F color, VS-2 clarity--it's definitely eye clean with no black carbon. It measures 3.6 mm, about .18 ct in size. It is set in the center of a four-sided "flower" or quatrefoil head, with lots of white gold around it, making it look much larger than it is. The head actually measures 6.5 mm, which is about the size of a one carat diamon. The shoulders are also illusion-set, with a .02 ct diamond in each. The mounting is fine quality, with attention to detail. The face measures 1/4" top to bottom and the diamonds span 5//8" across the finger. The head sits up 1/4" off the finger. There are no visible hallmarks (this may have been previously sized) but it does test positive for solid 14k gold, guaranteed. Total diamond carat weight is approximately .22 ct. This ring weighs 2.6 grams, and is in very fine vintage condition. It is a size 8.75 and can be sized within reason, by any competent jeweler. --TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THE FEEDBACK COMMENTS FROM OVER 6000 HAPPY CUSTOMERS.
