This is a very pretty antique 15ct gold opal,garnet and emerald gemstone novelty spider ring. The body of the spider is represented by an oval shaped opal gemstone of size 6.0m x 4.0mm, which is claw-set into the ring. The opal gemstone is in pristine condition and emanates an array of vibrant fiery colours in the light. The thorax of the spider is composed of a circular shaped, translucent garnet gemstone of size 4.0mm, also claw-set into the ring. The spider has green eyes which are represented by small claw-set emerald gemstones. There is a '15ct' gold stamp mark on the inside circumference of the shank which dates the ring as pre-1932{15ct gold was not manufactured after that date}. Size 'O'{UK},7.5{US}. The ring is in excellent condition throughout with genuine gemstones and no repairs. This is a lovely unique item of fine antique jewellery.
