Antique 1700's - 1800's Oval Wire Rim Spectacles EyeglassesNO RESERVEI was told these were from the 1700's but perhaps they date to the 1800's. I am no expert and I am sure a collector can determine the era.I will let the photos speak for the item.Interestingly, the glasses have no solder welds.It is all wire bent, looped and hinged together to construct these glasses. This leads me to believe that maybe they date a little older then the others I see on EBAY.The lenses are tight in and do not wobble or fall out.One of the lenses has a small bubble in it attesting to the technology of the age.4 3/8" widePlease see photos.
