This 19th Century maritime telecsope extends from 10-inches fully closed to 29 1/8-inches fully open, and the objective lens is 1 5/8-inches in diameter. This all-brass instrument has four sections with a leather cladding covering the widest. This fabulous telescope item is in great condition. Both the objective lens and the eyepiece are clean, the brass body shows signs of use but no defects and the eyepiece shutter works smoothly. The optics provide a very sharp, clear image, and it comes with a brass cap tp protect the larger lens.
